In one's life there are so many memories to be made, remembered, and always cherished. Robin Roy Nielsen Sr has left behind a lot of notable memories. When you think of Robin a first thought to come to mind was his devotion to his family. An individual raised in a generation where your wife and children were first. He would work two or even three jobs to give his family every need that they had, or even the wants. A man devoted to his wife for 41 years as a provider, confider, and mostly a friend to his wife Sandra M. Nielsen. He was also the proud father of Crystal M. Nielsen "Jones", and Robin R. Nielsen Jr. Robin was also the proud grandfather of Jacob R. Nielsen, Morgan E. Jones and Jordan G. Jones AKA Mookster. He would do anything for his granddaughters, and treated them as equals. However his Mookster had him from hello, and was the light of his life. He would always get the biggest laugh, when she would point her finger at him and say "Now Pop"! They were indeed twins, and yet he still showed the same amount of love for Morgan. But to be noted that Morgan is her Nana's sidekick and well it worked out as you could say that there were two granddaughters.

Robin was very large into his music, and if you were one of the many neighbors it was very noticeable by the sounds going throughout the street. Robin was also very particular around his vehicles; they never had a chance to get dirty. He always spent time cleaning his personal car and even his work van. It was made clear that when you owned something that you needed to take care of it or what would be the point having something at all. Not only his vehicles, but his yard had to be in pristine condition and tended to almost daily. He would come home from work, and in the yard you would find him. Not everyone could share the same vision around the yard decorations, or the color that he would paint them. However in his eye's they looked perfect with his rose bushes!

Robin loved to have family cookouts every weekend in the summer months, and you could never get enough of hearing that you needed to eat more. You could be stuffed, and your stomach hurting from already eating too much. However he would insist that you eat as it was important to him that there would be no leftovers or that no one went home hungry. He was even that person if you walked by the house and food was ready to be served, you would be offered a plate.

However he was that person that would seem a bit harsh at times, especially if you made a mistake that he could have helped you prevent. Rather if it were advise or some financial backing to support you. He was that person you were often scared to ask for help, but you knew that no matter that lecture or conversation ultimately you would get the help needed. Trust was not given nor was respect given; it was something that you had to show in order to receive. But the values that you were left with insured that you were ready for the reality of life. Robin we will miss you, we all love you, and we are all glad that you no longer will be in uneasy rest. We enjoy the fact that you will now be that Angel looking over us, and still providing your guidance in our times of need, and times of celebration.
