Robert Zipfel

Robert Zipfel, age 92, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on January 8, 2022 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of John Joseph and Vera Anne (Gresdo) Zipfel. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he retired as an electrical engineer from the Bendix Corporation. He loved gardening, handyman work and being outdoors. He also enjoyed reading, doing crafts and puzzles.    

Robert is survived by his wife of 64 years of marriage, Marie Zipfel; two daughters, Theresa Goodnight and Donna Bromley (Stephen); son, Anthony Zipfel; brother, James Zipfel; five grandchildren: Amy Nicholas, Casey Goodnight, April Goodnight, Brandon Bromley, and Jonathan Bromley; three great-grandchildren: Isaac Goodnight, Annabelle Goodnight, and Ethan Goodnight.
