Robert Wilson, born in Brooklyn, New York, passed away (at age 61) on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in Lutherville Timonium, Maryland.

Beloved husband Robert is survived by wife Amanda Wilson (Peterson), with whom he shared 42 years of marriage; children-- Robert Wilson, Jr. and Loren Alexis Wilson--, and granddaughter Elizabeth Wilson. Robert also is survived by his aunt, Jeannette Wilson, and his uncle, Tony Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers, Hoodie Wilson and Nijil Wilson.

Robert was the steady heartbeat of our home and the greatest love of my life, says wife Amanda, but to specifically quote his children: "Dad was a truly charismatic and one-of-a-kind individual who could make anyone he met an immediate friend. His infectious humor, defined by his signature one-liners, brought happiness to all. A devoted music enthusiast who loved to DJ and an avid bowler, Dad lived life with passion and charm. He was the best Dad ever, and we deeply love him and will miss him more than words can say. Forever and always, your ZimZack and Munch.”
