Robert Sexton Sr.

Robert Gerald Sexton, Sr., age 79, of Edgewood, MD passed away on August 12, 2022, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Magnolia, MD, he was the son of Robert and Mary Louise (Timmons) Sexton. He served in the U.S. Navy for six years and retired from Bethlehem Steel after 45 years. Robert was active in Boy Scouts. He was a member of the NRA, and liked hunting, fishing, NASCAR races, and camping.  He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather, and enjoyed coaching his children in lacrosse, baseball and soccer.    

Robert is survived by his wife Leslie Sexton; daughters, Heather Alice Renee Smith and Tammy Louise White; son, Robert Gerald Sexton, Jr.; grandchildren, Austin Jacob Smith, Kalli Nicole Smith, and Heidi Wilhelmina Blanchard; sister, Tina Sargable; brother, Gary Sexton; two sons-in-law, Kevin David Smith Jr. and Rich Allen White; and great-granddaughter, Jillian Wilhelmina Marie Blanchard.
