Obituary

Robert H. Roll, age 93. of Fallston, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 27, 2026.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Robert was the beloved son of the late Jerome Roll and Dora (Sopher) Roll. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Gloria Rose Pleet.

Robert was the devoted husband of Carrie (Hutchison) Roll, with whom he shared 63 years of loving marriage. He is survived by his cherished family, his wife, Carrie Roll, his daughter, Stacey Anne Roll, his son, Michael David Roll and his wife Kristen, and his grandson, Timothy Auden Roll.

Bob graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science. He later attended the Maryland Institute College of Art.

A proud veteran, Bob served his country honorably in the United States Army.

After working for the Maryland Port Administration he later established his own Public Relations and Marketing Communications Firm, Robert Roll and Associates.

A culturally rich person, Bob had a life long appreciation for the Arts including photography, architecture, drawing and painting. He enjoyed attending traditional museums as well as the American Visionary Arts Museum in Baltimore. Throughout his life he enjoyed all aspects of music including Jazz, Classical, New Age and Liturgical.

Bob had a great passion for Baseball including the history and strategy of the game. He was an excellent teacher about all aspects of the game to anyone interested. He especially loved the Baltimore Orioles.

Bob will be remembered for his dedication to his family and friends, and his life long love of the arts and sports. He was the dearest of men.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his honor to Doctors Without Borders and local food banks and pantries.
