Robert "Bob" Poe, age 80, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the beloved son of the late Joshua Ambrose Poe and Victoria (Costea) Poe.

Bob proudly served his country as a veteran and carried that same sense of dedication and service throughout his life. He was a longtime member of Mountain Christian Church, where he faithfully served as an usher for many years.

Bob was married to the love of his life, Patricia “Patti” (Bond) Poe, for 40 loving years. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and friendship. He was known for his great sense of humor, his warm personality, and the genuine connections he made with others. During his years on his Tastykake route, he developed many lasting friendships and was well-known throughout the community.

Bob loved spending time at the beach, especially in Ocean City, where he could often be found relaxing in a sun chair while enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. He also enjoyed going on cruises, fishing, and making memories with family and friends. Above all else, Bob loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to his wife of 40 years, Patricia “Patti” (Bond) Poe, he is survived by his loving sons, Taylor Poe and wife Jenna, and Scott Poe; his cherished grandchildren, Sierra Poe and Savanna Poe; and many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sisters, Arlene Schafer and Margaret Zeemo.
