Robert Nelson Armel Sr.
November 5, 1928 — February 8, 2014
Robert Nelson Armel Sr., age 85, of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 8, 2014 at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Continental, PA, he was the son of the late Nelson Bolton and Famie Ellen Yeager Armel. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a forklift operator at General Motors for 40 years and was also a member of Gloryland Gospel Ministries in Fairhill, Maryland.
Mr. Armel is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sally Lee Armel; son, Robert Nelson Armel Jr. of Baltimore City; and ten siblings. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to Maryland Line Animal Rescue, Inc., 2 Heritage Farm Drive, New Freedom, PA 17349.
