Robert "Bob" Luckett Sr.

Robert “Bob” Norman Luckett, Sr., 87, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Bel Air. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Howard Luckett and Ellen (Amos) Koons.

Robert was the devoted husband of Leona Luckett, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Together they built a loving family and a lifetime of memories. He was a proud veteran, having served in the Army National Guard for six years. Robert was an avid Baltimore sports fan and a passionate dog lover. He especially cherished the time spent watching sports with his family, a tradition filled with joy, excitement, and connection.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Luckett; his mother, Ellen Koons; and his son-in-law, Michael Weiss.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Leona Luckett; his daughter, Carol Weiss; his son, Robert Luckett, Jr. and his wife, Julianne; his brothers, Ronald Luckett and his wife, Theresa, and Brian Luckett and his wife, Deborah; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Kristen, Samantha, Benjamin and Andrew, and 8 great grandchildren.
