Robert Franklin Acker Sr.

ROBERT FRANKLIN ACKER, age 69, of Conowingo, MD, died on February 20, 2008 at Union Memorial Hospital in Elkton, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Theodore and Anna Virginia Temple Acker. He was a lifelong resident of Harford and Cecil counties where he worked as an automotive mechanic. He was a good friend who liked the water and loved to fish. He loved his family.

Mr. Acker is survived by two sons, Theodore Acker and Terry Acker, both of Abingdon, MD; a daughter, Sue Ann Dennis of Abingdon, MD; step-daughter, Mary Cates of Hickory, MD; three brothers, James Acker of Bel Air, MD, Charles Acker of Street, MD, and Willard Acker of Annapolis, MD; three sisters, Dorothy Taylor of Darlington, MD, Catherine Rudd of Port Deposit, MD, and Thelma Ayers of Jarrettsville, MD; four grandchildren, Michael Dennis of Elkton, MD, Timothy Pritt of Philadelphia, PA, Jacob Acker of Aberdeen, MD, and Tiffany Acker of Winston-Salem, NC; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Robert F. Acker Jr.; a brother, Theodore E. Acker; and a granddaughter, Dolly Mae Acker.
