Born in Newport, New Jersey, Robert was the beloved son of the late Charles Carey and Iris Kent Duckworth. In Viviana Carey, he found his true partner in life, his sunshine, with whom he shared countless cherished moments. Robert was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in watching sports, especially cheering on his beloved Orioles and Ravens, as well as indulging in the excitement of WWE wrestling.
More than anything, Robert cherished his role as a loving husband and devoted father. His warmth and compassion knew no bounds, and he leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories for his daughter Brianna Carey, sons Robert Carey and Brandon Winkler, and his extended family. He was a guiding light and a source of unwavering support to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
In addition to his immediate family, Robert is survived by his sisters, Donna and Sue, and his brother, Gary Carey, along with numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Robert's legacy of love, generosity, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us every day.
Forever remembered, forever loved, Robert Wayne Carey will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace.
