Rita A. Brown

Rita A. Brown, age 87, of Joppa, MD, died on June 27, 2009 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Cecelia Schuler Lange and wife of the late Russell Francis Brown, who she married on August 15, 1941 and who passed away on June 6, 1966. A huge Orioles fan, she was involved in 4-H for over 20 years. She also enjoyed arts and crafts, mainly ceramics, for over 40 years and was always involved with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her sons, Russell Brown Jr. and his wife, Joyce, of Joppatowne, MD and Keith Brown Sr. and his wife, Doreen, of Joppa, MD; five grandchildren, Keith Brown Jr., Kevin Brown, Russell Brown III, Deborah McMahon, and Timothy Brown; and nine grandchildren, Jackie McMahon, Samantha McMahon, Patty Murphy, Grace Brown, Hunter Brown, Able Brown, Nathaniel Brown, Christian Brown, and Gregory McMahon.

Pallbearers will be Keith Brown Jr., Kevin Brown, Timothy Brown, and Skip Brown.
