Richard Scott Remines

Richard Scott Remines, age 59, of Rising Sun, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Richard was the son of the late Herbert Hoover Remines and Ruth (Crabtree) Remines. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Remines, and Bryan Remines.

Richard is survived by his beloved sons, Isaac Remines and his wife Kacey, and Allan Frost and his wife Jenna. He deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

A proud and active member of the Marine Corps League, Richard was known in the community for his generous spirit and joyful heart. Each year, he delighted children and families by dressing as Santa Claus for charitable events, including those held by the Boys and Girls Club, local schools, and various charities.

Richard had a love for the outdoors and particularly enjoyed crabbing along Maryland’s waterways. He also had a passion for motorcycles and could often be found enjoying a ride. His kind heart, fun-loving nature, and deep devotion to family and community will be remembered by all who knew him.
