Richard D. Oberg, 75, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026. He was born in Virginia and was the son of the late John Calvin Oberg and the late Jeanette (Garrett) Oberg.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Richard enjoyed freshwater bass fishing and especially loved his family and spending time with them. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Oberg, and his sister, Jeannie Oberg.

He is survived by his son, William (Susan) Oberg; his long term girlfriend Donna Jones, his grandchildren, Shelby Stange and Collin Stange; and his brothers, Michael Oberg, and Charles Oberg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Tunnel to Towers.
