Richard "Dick" Ensor, Sr., age 84, of Jarrettsville, Maryland, passed away on May 4, 2024, at Commonwealth Senior Living at Bel Air in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the cherished son of the late Abram and Anna (Dixon) Ensor. Dick was the beloved husband of Barbara (Corbin) Ensor, with whom he shared a remarkable bond as high school sweethearts. Their enduring love story culminated in a marriage that spanned over 60 beautiful years, marked by unwavering commitment and shared adventures.

Dick was a devoted husband and father, a cornerstone of his family's happiness. Together with Barbara, they built a rich tapestry of memories, often spending cherished moments at their properties in Cambridge and Ocean City, Maryland, where they reveled in the joys of family togetherness.

A testament to his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Dick served as the esteemed President of Corbin Fuel Company for over five decades. Under his leadership, the company thrived as a beacon of integrity and service, remaining a cherished family enterprise to this day.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Dick found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in the company of his beloved friends on fishing excursions. His genuine warmth and infectious laughter brightened the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In addition to his devoted wife, Barbara, Dick is survived by his loving sons, Rick (Lisa) Ensor, Jr., Gregory (Elizabeth) Ensor, and Mark (Andrea) Ensor, who carry forward his legacy of love and resilience. He leaves behind a treasured legacy in his grandchildren: Joshua, Corbin, Austin, Courtney, Laurel, Haley, and Carly, as well as his great-grandchildren: Palmer, Berkley, Madilynn, and Troy. Dick is also survived by his dear brother, Tom Ensor, and sister, Ann Firca, who will continue to cherish his memory.

In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Ensor.
