Richard Louis Briney, age 69, of Churchville, Maryland, passed away on March 17, 2024, at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, Maryland. He was born in Maryland to the late William and Evelyn (Sheridan) Briney and was the beloved husband of Mary Annette Briney.

Richard had a passion for golf and cherished spending time on the green. He was an avid sports fan, finding joy in following Orioles baseball, Raven football, and Maryland Terps basketball. Those who knew him best would describe him as a good-hearted individual, always ready with a smile and a kind word.

Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Annette Briney, and his loving brother, Keith Briney. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Louis Ann Thompson, and Kathy Anderson.

Richard will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
