Renee A. Phipps, age 97, of Ocean City, Maryland passed away on August 29, 2021, at her home. Born in Hericourt, France, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lea (Durupt) Rué and wife of the late James R. Phipps. She was married for 49 years. Not only was she an avid reader, but she also enjoyed knitting and playing cards.
Renee is survived by her children, Jacqueline Southerington, David Phipps, John Phipps, and Barbara Smith; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jean Rué.
