Raymond Gordon Hierstetter

Raymond Gordon Hierstetter, age 82, of Belcamp, MD passed away on March 6, 2014 at his home. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late James C. and Bessie R. Tippet Hierstetter. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a milk driver for Sealtest for 25 years and later worked at McDonalds in Riverside. He was nicknamed "Ringer" and loved his two best four legged friends, Herck and Coalie, his cherished dachsunds.

Mr. Hierstetter is survived by his wife of 23 years, Linda Ann Hierstetter; children Raymond K. Hierstetter and wife, Deborah of Perry Hall, Donna Knight and husband, Redgnel Emmitt of Bel Air; step children, Michael Carrier and wife, Kim of Forest Hill, Stephanie Boggs and husband, Bob of Delaware and Laura Gaither and husband, Ken of Glen Burnie; brother, Lawrence Hierstetter of Smithburg; 12 grandchildren, 2 great granddaughters, 4 nieces and 3 nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by siblings, Jimmy, Gilbert, Billy, Evelyn, Emma and Elsie.
