Ray Mann, age 90, of Bel Air, MD, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Bel Air, MD. Born in Miami, FL, he was the son of the late Adam Carroll Mann and Mary Elizabeth (Coe) Mann. For 66 years, he was the beloved husband of the late JoAnn Lehning Mann.
Ray was a veteran, having proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. For 45 years, he owned and operated Coughlin & Mann in Bel Air before retiring in 2005. He was a man of deep faith who enjoyed teaching Sunday School and was a member of Connecting Church, as well as a former member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Seventh Baptist Church, and Towne Baptist Church. Ray loved dancing with his wife, fishing, reading spy novels, playing pickleball, and going to the beach. Above all, he cherished visiting and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved wife and parents, Ray was preceded in death by his great-grandchild, Amelia Trauba.
Ray is survived by his children Cathy (Don) DeLorenz, Carla Evans, Carroll (Lee) Mann, Cynthia Card, and Christy McKinzie.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Alyssa (Ryon) Maree, Chelsea DeLorenz, Cara (Kevin) Martinez, Jesse (Brittany) Whisnant, Lucas Whisnant, Patrick and Adam Mann, Anastasia (Shawn) Swearingen, Melanie (Micah) Feaster, Justine (Brandon) Feaster, Alicia Flores, Ciara (Brett) McKinzie, Maya (Richard) McKinzie, and Anthony McKinzie.
His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Joan, Jude, and Juliet Maree; Joaquin Martinez; Vincenzo and Niccolo Whisnant; Liam and Cole Swearingen; Grace and Theodore Trauba; Demi Swift; Bodhi Wessel; and Mihka Bush.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in honor of his late wife, JoAnn.
