Lewis Lorando “Randy” McMillan, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland, surrounded by his family. Born in Havre De Grace, Maryland, he was the son of the late Louis McKinley McMillan and Edna Regina (Norton) McMillan, both of whom preceded him in death.
Randy was a 1977 graduate of North Harford High School and went on to attend Harford Community College, where he played college football and set numerous records as a running back. He later completed his collegiate football career under Head Coach Jackie Sherrill at the University of Pittsburgh. In 1981, Randy was drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Baltimore Colts as the 12th overall pick. The team moved to Indianapolis where Randy finished the balance of his career. Throughout his life, Randy maintained a strong passion for athletics and staying active, especially enjoying golf, racquetball, and running.
He is survived by his siblings, Charles (Janine) McMillan, Timothy McMillan, and Ethel Wiggleton, as well as nieces and nephews, Devon, Zachary, Danielle, Paige, Ethan, and Tavary, great niece Nyla, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Randy’s parents.
