Philip J. Michaud, age 94, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on April 22, 2023 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of Lillian Michaud and husband of the late Margaret (Grubel) Michaud.
He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and loved the church community. He retired from Edgewood Arsenal in July 1974 after 37 years of service in security. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He loved to dance and listen to bluegrass & gospel music. He enjoyed playing cards and bocce ball with his friends at the senior center in Bel Air.
Philip is survived by his children, JoAnn Czajkowski and Ruben Plascencia and Phyllis "Sue" Biagi and Sandie Shaw; grandchildren, Brian Adams and his wife Dr. Shirali Patel, Derek Czajkowski and his wife Angela, Katie Czajkowski-Fell and her husband Justin, Annette Plascencia, Trevor Biagi and his wife Brooke Gardner and Tyler Biagi and his wife Tiffany; great-grandchildren, James McMahon, Olivia & Vivienne Adams, Elliott & Emmett Czajkowski, Leonore "Leo" & Cameron Fell.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Hayden Arthur Fell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2106 Churchville Rd., Bel Air, MD 21015.
