Philip Laurence Einhorn, age 87, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on January 31, 2025, at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of Leonard Laurence Einhorn and Irene (Miles) Moore and the husband of the late Ruth Ann (Venzke) Einhorn.
Philip honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. Throughout his career, he traveled across the country with his family while working as a manager for Combined Insurance Company of America, retiring in 1994. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years until moving into Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. Additionally, Philip served as Bel Air Town Commissioner from 2012 to 2016. He was a dedicated member of the American Legion in Bel Air and enjoyed socializing at the McFaul Senior Center. In his free time, he found joy in playing cards and bingo, as well as watching sports.
Philip is survived by his four sons, Ricky (Debbie) Cochran, Tony (Mary) Cochran, Eric Einhorn, and Harry (Ann) Einhorn; two daughters, Renata Wilson and Samantha (John) Emminizer; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his brother, Norman "Scott" Einhorn; and his sister, Joanne Syvertsen.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Philip's memory be made to Charlotte Hall Veterans Home at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home - St. Marys County, Maryland
