Pauline Diane Myers Eller of Abingdon, Maryland, passed on July 26, 2025, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland, surrounded by her children.
Mrs. Eller, the daughter of the late James Franklin Myers and Florence Tate Dancy Myers, was born October 25, 1932, in Hayes, Wilkes County, North Carolina. She attended Bel Air High School and went on to work as a Rural Route Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Abingdon, Maryland.
A devoted woman of faith, Mrs. Eller was a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher, choir member, and Charter Member of Maple View Baptist Church in Joppa. At the time of her passing, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Aberdeen. She also enjoyed singing in the Oak Grove Living Christmas Tree Choir.
Mrs. Eller was an avid gardener and a fine seamstress. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 58 years, Mr. Benjamin L. Eller Sr.
She is survived by her children: Rev. Benjamin L. Eller, Jr. and his wife Judy of Peach Bottom, PA; Gerald M. Eller, Sr. and his wife Cathy of Abingdon, MD; Karen Eller Woodall and her husband Thomas of Lynchburg, VA; and Rev. Kenneth J. Eller and his wife Maritess of Abingdon, MD.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Jennifer Bowie and husband Jason, Patricia Asbury and husband Ron, Theresa Pfeifer and husband Christopher, Benjamin Eller III and wife Amanda, Gerald Eller, Jr. and wife Christy, Thomas Ward and wife Crystal, Melissa Guerison, Nicole Eller, Sara Harman and husband Christopher, Rachel Eller, and Hannah Eller.
Mrs. Eller was blessed with 22 great-grandchildren: Collin Ward, Brook Smith, Katlyn Ward, Kevin Witt, Alex Pfeifer, Brody Eller, Emma Casallo, Nathaniel Scearce, Rebekah Short, Griffin Eller, Alyssa Ward, Cadance Ottinger, Brianna Eller, Eli Eller, Trent Ottinger, Addison Bowie, Lilyana Harman, Josiah Harman, Aaron Genglar, Micah Harman, Ava Eller, and Ellie-Kate Harman. She also leaves behind four great-great-grandchildren.
