Paul F. Becker

Paul Frederick Becker, age 64, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026.

Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Paul was the beloved son of Theresa Regina (Fryza) Becker and the late Paul Ernest Becker.

Paul was the devoted husband of Lisa R. Becker, with whom he shared 36 loving years of marriage. He was a proud and loving father to Jillian (Grady) Off, née Becker, and Bryan (Ashley) Becker. Paul cherished his role as “Dad” and was always his children’s biggest supporter throughout their years playing sports. He was also a proud grandfather to Ella Off, who brought him immense joy.

In addition to his wife, children, granddaughter, and mother, Paul is survived by his sisters, Barbara (William) Hempel and Debra (Jeffery) Mullins, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Paul dedicated 40 years of service to the State Highway Administration. Outside of work, he was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed music trivia, skiing, playing cards, pickleball, and live music, and he was a devoted hockey fan. One of his favorite places to visit was Rehoboth Beach, where he loved making memories with his family. Paul especially treasured time spent with friends and family and was well known for making people laugh with his classic “dad jokes.”

In lieu of flowers, Paul’s family is asking for donations to assist in thymic carcinoma research. Donations can be made to the Thymic Carcinoma Center via the following link https://thymiccarcinoma.org or to the National Institute of Health where Paul participated in a research study. A donation link for NIH research will be shared at a later date.
