Patricia ''Vlasta'' Beatrice Hirshauer

Patricia "Vlasta" Beatrice Hirshauer, age 94, of Abingdon, MD, died on December 7, 2010 at her home. Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna Klecka Pouska, and wife of the late Joseph E. Hirshauer. She had worked at Bata Shoe Company for 18 years, where she was on the sewing line. A member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, she loved gardening, playing bingo at the church, shopping, baking, and cooking.

Mrs. Hirshauer is survived by her daughter, Patricia F. Harmon and her husband, Wallace W. Harmon, of Abingdon, MD; brother, Edward J. Pouska of Abingdon, MD; niece, Laurie Pouska of Bel Air, MD; and nephew, Bruce Hirshauer of Baltimore, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Henry Pouska.
