Patricia Ann Rosso

December 17, 1947 — July 2, 2025

Fallston

On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, Patricia Ann Rosso, a devoted wife, beloved mother, cherished step-grandmother, and faithful servant of God, passed peacefully in Lutherville Timonium, Maryland, at the age of 77.

Born on December 17, 1947, Patricia was the loving daughter of the late Estelle (Cram) Hughes and Vincen Joshua Hughes Jr. She was the devoted wife of Eugene Paul Rosso and a member of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, where she lived out her deep and abiding faith.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Estelle and Vincen Hughes, and her dear brother, Michael Hughes.

She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene Rosso; her son William Paul Smith Jr and his wife Claudia; her stepson Thomas Rosso and his wife Kellie; and her adoring stepgrandchildren:Andrew Rosso, Tyler Rosso, and Mia Rosso. Patricia's love for her family was the heart of her life. She was a dedicated and nurturing presence, always putting her loved ones first. Family was her world.

A proud graduate of Towson High School, Patricia went on to earn her master’s degree in Reading and Early Childhood. She pursued her calling as a special education teacher, where her patience, compassion, and grace left a lasting impact on every student she encountered. Her God-given vocation to teach was more than a career—it was a ministry of love.

Patricia also shared her gifts by teaching swimming at the YMCA alongside her dear friend and neighbor, Betty. She brought joy and light into every season—especially through her holiday decorations, which she prepared with great pride. Summers were spent enjoying vacations with her family, and winters brought sledding adventures filled with laughter and love.

A devout Roman Catholic, Patricia found peace and awe in the presence of beautiful cathedrals. Among her most cherished spiritual pilgrimages were visits to the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral and Saint Ann's Basilica, where she felt deeply connected to her faith and to the Blessed Mother.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm at McComas Family Funeral Home in Bel Air, MD. Mass will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church in Fallston, MD. Interment will be at Moreland Memorial Park, Parkville, MD.

Patricia's legacy of love, faith, and devotion lives on in her family and all who were touched by her life.
