Patricia E. Lohmeyer

December 20, 1935 — June 7, 2024

Patricia E. Lohmeyer, age 88, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on June 7, 2024, at Forest Hill Heights in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Leonard and Elizabeth (Ford) Zeitschel.

Patricia was a longtime member of North Harford Baptist Church, where she attended Sunday School class and enjoyed working with the children’s nursery. She was also a member of the Jarrettsville Homemaker's Club, AARP of Bethel Presbyterian Church (Madonna), and the Red Hat Society. Patricia enjoyed volunteering at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in their gift shop. She had retired from Verizon Communications after 20 years of service as a secretarial assistant. Patricia had a passion for baking, with her specialties being brownies and cakes.

Patricia is survived by her sons, John Thomas (Rebecca) Lohmeyer III of Forest Hill, MD, and David (Helen) Lohmeyer of Pylesville, MD; four grandchildren, Kristi (Mike) Kriss, Josh (Jess) Lohmeyer, Amie Lohmeyer, and Laura Sky Quest; two great-grandchildren, Kara Kriss and Ben Kriss; and her brother, L. Michael Zeitschel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joann Klebe.
