Patricia Rash Cole, 81, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2026, in Bel Air.

Born in West Jefferson, North Carolina, Patricia was the daughter of the late Boice Rash and Eva (Welch) Rash Osborne. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hubert Merrill Cole Jr.; her stepfather, Harold Osborne, who was a constant presence throughout most of her life and helped raise her; her brothers, Edward Rash and Joseph Osborne.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was married to the late Hubert Merrill Cole Jr., with whom she shared many cherished years. She is lovingly survived by her sons, Sean (Grace) Lynch; Christopher Lynch; her treasured grandchild, Joshua Lynch; and her stepson, Bill Cole (and family).

Patricia dedicated many years of service as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of the Army, where she formed many lasting friendships and created countless good memories. She took great pride in helping to provide safe equipment to those who served in the U.S. Army, finding deep purpose in supporting the men and women who protect our nation.

Her faith was an important part of her life. She served as a Sunday School teacher at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bel Air, where she shared her love of Scripture and her gentle wisdom with others. Patricia was known for her kindness, friendliness, and compassionate spirit. She loved her family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them. She found joy in baking pound cakes, offering encouragement to those facing difficult times, and serving others in ways that made them feel cared for and valued. She strived to make those around her happy and would share wisdom and insights with others in need.
