Patricia Anne Welsh

Patricia Anne Welsh, age 79, of Joppa, MD passed away on September 4, 2013 at Brightview Assisted Living in Bel Air. Born in Tioga County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Judson Norman and Ruby Amanda Horton Colegrove and wife of the late Robert Arthur Welsh. Mrs. Welsh was a graduate of Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and taught 3rd grade at Riverside Elementary School in Joppatowne, Maryland for over 25 years until her retirement in 1994. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Upper Falls. She taught Sunday school for many years and loved music, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Mrs. Welsh is survived by her sons, Todd Alan Welsh and wife, Julie, of Boonsboro and Tedd Andrew Welsh and wife, Lauren of Abingdon; sister, Carol Porter of Tioga, PA; grandchildren, Jay, Kevin, Brett, Michael, Erin and Stephen Welsh; and great grandchild, Riley Welsh.
