Pastor Lloyd A. Weston, age 89, of Pasadena, MD, was called home to be with the Lord on January 14, 2014 at Glen Burnie Health and Rehabilitation Center in Glen Burnie, MD. Born in Hastings, PA, he was the son of the late Daniel Steiner Weston and Mary (May) Chapman Weston. He was a veteran of WWII in the U.S. Navy and completed studies in Theology at Nyack Missionary College in 1951. Pastor Weston dedicated his life to serving God in the Christian Missionary Alliance denomination and served as pastor for over 65 years. He was the founding pastor of Bethlehem Chapel Church in Wheeling, WV and served there for 34 years, and later served at Edgewood Alliance Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather.
Pastor Weston is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris L. Myers Weston; sons, John D. Weston and wife Mary of Pylesville, MD and LTC (Ret.) Donald L. Weston and wife Jen of Fairfax, VA; daughter, Carol L. Pelino and husband Carmine of Pasadena, MD; brothers, Duane Weston of Red Lion, PA and Rev. Donald M. Weston of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Dorothy Stifler of York, PA; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
