Pamela Lydia Santangelo, 93, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Born in England, she was the beloved daughter of the late Tom Rees and Una Dorothy (Winter) Rees, and the devoted wife of the late Dominick Rocco Santangelo.
Pamela was a loving mother to Teresa L. (Christopher) Johnson and cherished grandmother to Christopher Johnson, Jr. and Stephanie (Tommy) Houck. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Violet and Louis Houck. She is survived by her brother, Brian Rees.
In addition to her husband and parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Giltz and Margaret Smith.
A devout member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church for many years, Pamela devoted her time and energy to her parish community. She was an active volunteer, supporting BINGO, the Sharing Table, and the Ladies of Corpus Christi. Pamela also served as a chapter member of the Daughters of the British Empire, proudly honoring her heritage.
Pamela will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend. She had a passion for solving puzzles, knitting, and above all, traveling the world.
