Obituary for Lois A. Haskin

Lois A. Haskin, age 87, of Bel Air, MD passed away on May 3, 2018 at Forest Hill Heights in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Newport, PA, she was the daughter of Evan and Catherine (Trevett) Edwards and was the wife of the late Robert Eugene Haskin. She earned her Registered Nursing degree from Temple School of Nursing and then joined the Navy after graduation. Entering the Navy as an officer, she served as a Naval Nurse. Lois was motivated to join the Navy to travel and see the world, where she met her husband and enjoyed over 60 years of marriage. She worked in several hospitals across the country as an RN and she also volunteered at York Hospital for many years. Lois was the youngest of seven children.

Mrs. Haskin is survived by three daughters, Deborah Haskin, Gail Adams-Saunders (Robert), and Pamela Haskin (Stephanie); grandchildren, Nicole Phillips (Daniel), Eli Adams (Becky), Benjamin Adams, and Marshall Adams; great grandchildren, Ava and Rayvn Zeideker and Lindsay and Blake Adams; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey A. Haskin, and six siblings.
