Novalene “Granny” Sexton, 91, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026, in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Sackett, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Watson Sexton and the late Myrtle Sexton.

Novalene enjoyed many things throughout her life. In her younger days, she enjoyed clubbing with her girlfriends and making wonderful memories together. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She especially loved watching the kids in the pool and cheering on her great-grandchildren as they played sports.

She is survived by her son, R. Glynn Collins and his wife Margaret; grandchildren, Glynn (Kristen) Collins and Kristy (Michael) McComas; great-grandchildren, Julia Hough, Taye Williams, Kellen Williams, Gemma Collins, Brody McComas, and Colt McComas; brother, Pat Sexton; and sister, Eva Sexton. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
