Nelson Woodrow Rosier, 84, of Rosedale, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Nelson was the son of the late Howard Woodrow Rosier and Mardell Lucy (Trimmer) Rosier.

A proud veteran, Nelson honorably served his country in the Army. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Bonita Rosier. He had a deep love for golf and played as often as he could. His favorite golfer was Jack Nicklaus, someone he admired not just for his talent but also because they were the same age. He was also a loyal Baltimore Orioles fan and followed many sports on television. In addition to sports, he found joy in dancing and rarely passed up an opportunity to enjoy music and movement.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonita Rosier; his son, Jeffrey Rosier, Sr. and daughter-in-law, Teresa Rosier; his daughter, Deborah Rosier; and his stepdaughters, Melony Taylorson and Stacey Damico, (and spouse, Joe Cresta)

Nelson is survived by his sister, Carolyn Spangler; her son, Jack Spangler, Jr., and Jack’s wife, Liz Spangler; their children, Cole and Julianna Spangler; and his brother-in-law, William Golden.

He is also survived by his grandson, Jeffrey Rosier, Jr. (and spouse, Alyssa Rosier), and great-grandchildren, Dylan Rosier, Drew Rosier, and Andie Rosier.

His step-grandchildren include Gavin Taylorson, Landon Cresta, Dylan Saintcross, Brynn Taylorson, Shelby Dougherty, Chrissy Picciotto, and Lisa Gigliotti. Nelson's step-great-grandchildren are Carsen Garcia, Reese Garcia, Vincent Gigliotti, and Anthony Gigliotti.
