Nellie Theresa Hubbard

Nellie “Dee” Theresa Hubbard, age 62, of Edgewood, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Born in Washington, D.C., Dee was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert Scheve.

Dee is survived by her children, Ryan Scheve, Jacob Ibrahim and his wife Alexis, and Sarah Ibrahim and her husband Donald Billings; her cherished grandchildren, Carson Billings and Isabella Scheve. Life partner Joseph Niziolek. And siblings Theodore Scheve, Mary Phillips, Joan Pollitt, Lisa Scheve, Geraldine Lovell.

Dee found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved to cook and had a special passion for antique shopping. Her green thumb was evident in her flourishing flower and vegetable gardens. She treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and rarely went without her favorite cup of coffee. Her beloved cat, Caroline Elizabeth, held a very special place in her heart.
