Nancy Lee Kellner, age 84, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Bel Air, Maryland.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Nancy was the daughter of the late Milton Lee Hax and Nellie Blanche (Cryer) Hax. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank P. Kellner, Jr.

Nancy spent most of her life in Bel Air, where she created a loving home and devoted herself to raising her family. After many years caring for her children, she began a career as an administrative assistant at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she worked for several years. Following retirement, Nancy found her greatest joy in time spent with her grandchildren, attending their activities and remaining closely involved in their lives. More than anything, she treasured being surrounded by her family.

In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Kellner; and her brother, Charles Hax.

She is survived by her son, Frank P. Kellner, III; her daughter, Jennifer (Chris) Berger; her beloved grandchildren, Pierce Berger, May Berger, Isabella Kellner, and Gabriella Kellner; her sister, Lynda (Timothy) Heilman; her sister-in-law, Judith Hax; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Nancy will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her gentle warmth, and the love she so freely shared with all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s honor to the Upper Chesapeake Health Foundation.
