Nancy Lee House Dutton

Nancy Lee House Dutton "Fancy Nancy", 85, of Altavista died Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Autumn Care of Altavista.

She was born February 15, 1941 in Maryland, a daughter of the late William Vespermann and Mary Baldwin Vespermann.

She is survived by one son, William J. House of Joppa, MD; one daughter, Wendy Reynolds and her husband, Jeff of Rustburg; two sisters, Donna Livingston of Canton, OH and Lou Ann Welsh and her husband, Steve of Bunker Hill, WV; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren with one more on the way; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Melvin House, Jr. and a brother, Joseph Vespermann.

No services will be held in Altavista, Virginia. A service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held at McComas Family Funeral Home in Abingdon, Maryland.
