Nancy E. Hawkins

Nancy Elizabeth Hawkins, age 85, of Darlington, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was born in Bluefield, West Virginia, to the late Paul Adams and Ruth Ella (Brimm) Adams.

Nancy was the beloved wife of the late William Franklin Hawkins and, previously, her first husband, the late Andrew Harrison Ledford. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Paul Adams.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Woodward; her cherished grandsons, Bradley Woodward and his wife Andrea and Andrew Woodward and his wife Brittany; her adored great-grandchildren, Noah, Delaney, Avery, and Coleton Woodward, and Taryn Lasalle.

Nancy’s family meant the world to her. She found joy in traveling, crocheting, needlepoint, and completing word searches. She especially loved eating fried chicken and crabs with her family. A woman of faith, she attended The Well at the Evangel Assembly of God in Aberdeen, Maryland.
