Milton Carter

Milton (Milco) Carter, age 88, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on August 26, 2022 at Sterling Care in Bel Air, Maryland.  Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Harrison and Mary (Otho) Carter and husband of the late Leona (Tongue) Carter for 50 years. He also was known as Milco/(Pop).  He loved watching old western and enjoyed his grandchildren visiting.  He worked for the U.S. Government, and he was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where he occasionally attended.   

Milton (Pop) is survived by his children, Adrienne, Kathy, Berkley, Kim, Jerry, Aaron, Tracy, Milton and Milford; grandson, Donnie; brothers, Wesley Carter; sisters, Beatrice Carter, Bessie Carter Ward, Carrie Carter Henry, Juanita Carter Adam and Rose Carter; 32 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by daughter, Ingrid and sons, Vanton, Keith, James and Kenneth, brothers, Morris, Rufus, and Jasper Carter and sister, Marie Carter Long.
