M. Joyce Hall

M. Joyce Hall, age 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. She was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky, to the late Donald Alan Gilliam and Ollie Leigh (Adams) Gilliam.

She is survived by her loving children, Thomas Hall, Timothy Hall and his wife Robin, and Tamara Hall; and her dear sister, Janet Hash.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by 10 siblings.

Joyce was a devoted mother and sister whose love for her family was evident in all that she did. She was a longtime member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and proudly worked for the Federal Government during her career. In her free time, Joyce enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She took great pride in being organized and had a keen eye for perfection in everything she did. Known as a wonderful cook, she delighted family and friends with her meals and cherished visiting her loved ones in Tennessee.

Joyce Hall will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
