Mattie Irene Schildtknecht

MATTIE IRENE SCHILDTKNECHT, age 78, of Bel Air, MD, died on October 31, 2006, at her home. Born in Aberdeen, MD, she was the daughter of the late Dewey A. and Ethel F. Woodie Douglas and the wife of the late Merritt Lee Schildtknecht. She and her husband were married 14 years when he passed away. She loved cooking and spending time and caring for her family. She was like a mother to everyone in her family.

Mrs. Schildtknecht is survived by a niece, Jane C. Sachs of Ellerbe, NC; a nephew, Benjamin C. Kilby of New Freedom, PA; a brother-in-law, Charles D. Kilby of Bel Air, MD; five great nieces and nephews and 3 great-great nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Janet L. Kilby.
