Mary M. Sanders

Mary M. Sanders, age 91, a longtime resident of Bel Air, MD, passed away on August 23, 2013 at the Senator Bob Hooper House. Born in Sparta, NC, she was the daughter of the late William P. and Hattie Hodge Watson and wife of the late Troy Dale Sanders. A resident of Harford County since 1953, she worked in several establishments; the Regal Restaurant, the Coachman's Inn, Little Italy, Deano's, and Palm's Pizza. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her daughter, Judy Muehl and husband, Theodore of Bel Air, MD; her daughter, Gwen Aversano, and husband, Randy of White Hall, MD; grandchildren, Rachel Sorenson, and husband, Doug; Allison Dyott, and husband, Donnie; Rebekah Brown, and husband, Tony; Sarah Aversano, Steven Muehl, and wife, Teresa; and one great-grandchild due in November. Also, a half-sister, Peggy Duncan, and husband, Dale of Sparta, NC. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Gary Dale Sanders and grandson Joshua Louis Aversano, three sisters and four half-sisters.

Mom was loved very much and will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers were Theodore Muehl, Randy Aversano, Steve Muehl and Donnie Dyott.
