Mary L. Harris

Mary L. Harris, age 85, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on August 28, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Fort Worth, Texas, she was the daughter of Thomas Gordon and Ethel (Ousley) Cobbs, and was the wife of the late Douglas E. Harris.

Mrs. Harris is survived by her children, Duane Harris and LaVerne Monroe; two sisters, Barbara Penigar and Joann Allen; brother, Ronnie Gordon; and grandchildren, Natasha Harris, Chykima Bailey, Hun Monroe, Jr., Vanessa Strunk and Miki Monroe.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Bernard Sanders and brother, Thomas Gordon, Jr.
