Mary Jo Glodek

Mary Jo Glodek, age 69, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away at home surrounded by family on November 22, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Rose (Brennan)O’Dea and the beloved wife of 42 years to Stanley Walter Glodek, Jr.

Mary Jo was a devoted mother to her four children. She found joy in baking, spending time with her family and friends, road tripping around the US with Stan and especially chasing after her grandchildren. Mary Jo also cherished trips to the beach and Atlantic City, where she created countless fond memories. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and retired in 2020 after a 30-year career as a Tax Preparer with H&R Block. 

She is survived by her loving husband, Stanley, and her children: Meghan (Brian) Grahe, William (Lisa) Glodek, Teresa (Christopher) Malone, and Daniel (Megan) Glodek. She was the proud grandmother of Eloise, Amelia, Henry, John, Grant, Daniel, Claire, and Elizabeth.

In addition to her parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Thomas O’Dea.
