Mary F. Mitchell

Mary F. Mitchell, 90, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on March 14, 2025, at Hart Heritage Estates in Street, Maryland.

Born in Kerens, West Virginia, Mary was the daughter of Austin Ray Mallow and Martha Ellen (Day) Mallow. She was a devoted member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church for over 60 years.

Mary found joy in life’s simple pleasures—working on puzzle books, gardening, and tending to her yard. She loved camping and antique shopping, but above all, she cherished time spent with her family. Some of her fondest memories were the trips she took with her husband, daughters, son-in-law, and grandchildren especially their beloved yearly vacations to West Virginia.

She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, Walter Mitchell; three daughters, Kathryn Napper, Carol (Jeffrey) Zeller, and Peggy Rothstein; grandchildren, Lauren Napper, Adam Zeller, and Noah Zeller; and her brother, Elmer Mallow.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her siblings, Bill Mallow, Tom Mallow, Kenneth Mallow, Sadie Harlan, and Ruby Mallow.
