MaryAnn Davis-Calzolaio

MaryAnn Davis-Cazolaio, age 96, of Joppa, Maryland, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025 at her home.

Born in Blakely, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late John and Frances (Waskiewicz) Sczawinski and the beloved wife of the late Lewis B. Davis, Jr of Phoenixville, PA and the late Anthony Calzolaio of Pottstown, PA.

She is survived by her loving daughter Lisa R. Baker, devoted son Ronald K. Davis and granddaughters Rachel A., Erin E. and Melanie B. Baker who she loved dearly. She is also survived by nieces Kathy (Jared) Hamilton, Sharon Savinski, Nancy (Steven) Wright and Janice (Charles) Dragoo.

She was preceded in death by brothers Anthony (Madge) Savinski, John (Dorothy) Savinski and Joseph Savinski as well as sisters Irene (Harry) Waligore, Lottie (Joseph) Stoicovich, Rose (Edward) Demboski, and Nancy (Thomas) Yanosh and nephews Glenn (Nancy) Savinski, John Waligore and niece Barbara Austin.

MaryAnn was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed ice skating, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a woman of strong faith and enjoyed attending bible studies, prayer groups and church functions throughout her life. She especially loved little children and enjoyed serving in the church nursery. She was a longtime member of St. Columbkill parish in Boyertown, Pa and Holy Spirit Church in Joppatown after moving to Maryland.

MaryAnn led a life well lived. Her concern was always for the happiness and well-being of her family. Her ever-present concern for others and her generosity will leave a great void in the lives of those who love her.
