Maron Elizabeth Bolton

Maron Elizabeth Bolton, age 28, of Abingdon, MD, died on April 26, 2013. Born in Atlanta, GA, she is the daughter of Bill Bolton of Bel Air, MD and Gretchen G. Withrow of Abingdon, MD and also of David F. Withrow of Abingdon, MD and M. Elizabeth Bowen of Bel Air, MD.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Alina M. and Anaya F. Ortiz of Bel Air, MD; brothers, Jared D.C. Withrow of Derry, NH, Jonathon R. Withrow of Abingdon, MD and William W. Bolton of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Eleanor C.G. Withrow of Seattle, WA and Emma V. M. Bolton of Bel Air, MD; grandparents, Perry G. and Virginia W. Bowen of King George, VA, and Frank B. Withrow of Stafford, VA; loving father of her children, Omar J. Ortiz of Bel Air, MD; grandmother of her children, Nidia M. Caraballo of Bel Air, MD; and fiance, Robert L. Fortney III of Abingdon, MD.

Maron graduated from Harford Day School in 1998, began her high school years at St. Timothy's School, and graduated from Bel Air High School in 2002. Maron was a creative force, an artist, a dramatist and a singer. She was an avid reader. Maron loved playing outdoors with her children. She will be remembered for her contagious laughter, her joy in life, her intellectual curiosity and her fierce spirit.
