Marlene Kay Rose, age 73, of Havre de grace, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John Alfred Doran and Virginia Ruth (Haynes) Doran and the beloved wife of David Allen Rose, with whom she shared 51 wonderful years of marriage.

Marlene retired in 2020 from Sood Family Medicine in Bel Air after 15 years of dedicated service. Throughout her career, she also worked at the dental office of her brother, Dr. John Doran, Jr., and at the practice of Dr. Antonino Calon.

Marlene was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Joppa, Maryland. She enjoyed playing BINGO, attending car shows with her husband, and searching for treasures at yard sales. She and David shared a love of classic cars and were members of the Recycled Teenagers Car Club.

In addition to her husband, David Allen Rose, Marlene is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Rick) Ungham; son, Kevin Rose; granddaughter, Ivy Ungham; sister, Linda Stevenson; and brothers, Nelson Doran and Alan Doran.

In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her brother, John Doran, Jr.
