Mark Ryan Tolbert, II

July 23, 2010 — June 24, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Ryan Tolbert, II, age 14, of Bel Air, Maryland, who departed this life on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in Baltimore. Mark was born and raised in Harford County and was just a month shy of celebrating his 15th birthday.

Mark was a student at C. Milton Wright High School, where he was known for his vibrant spirit and kind heart. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend who made a lasting impression on all who knew him. An exceptional teenager with an eclectic personality, Mark was deeply loved by his family and well liked throughout his community.

He had a special bond with each of his siblings. Mark especially cherished the time he spent with his older sister, Madison Tolbert, whom he considered his best friend and role model. He also delighted in playing and laughing with his younger siblings.

Mark found joy in many aspects of life. He loved spending time with friends, creating music, making art, gaming, going for walks, working out at the gym, and riding motorcycles with his dad. His most loved hobby was his band “Lethal” where he enjoyed practicing with his friend Jeremy and his sister Madison where his creative passion extended to recording music and designing cover art. Among his favorite things were eating Taco Bell, pizza, cheeseburgers, spending time outdoors, concerts, and white Monster energy drinks with the twist-off lid.

He had a giving heart, often helping elderly neighbors by shoveling snow from their driveways and cars and assisting his grandparents with yard work. Mark's compassion and generosity were evident in all that he did, leaving behind a legacy of kindness.

Mark is survived by his loving parents, Mark R. Tolbert (Heather), and Nicole Marie (Liquori) Keels, his cherished siblings, Madison Tolbert, Mason Tolbert, Kenzleigh Poling, and Luca Poling, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mark’s memory can be made to the Brandon Tolson Foundation at https://brandontolsonfoundation.org/product/like-hearted-mark-tolbert/.

Mark will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him. His laughter, kindness, and beautiful soul will never be forgotten.
