Marilyn Diane Coliano passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Marilyn Elizabeth (Brown) (Tracy) Gallagher and the late John Francis Tracy.
Marilyn was the beloved wife of Anthony Phillip Coliano, Sr; with whom she shared 55 years of marriage. Together they built a loving family and a lifetime of memories.
She devoted much of her career to education, retiring from Anne Arundel Public Schools, where she worked as a Reading Specialist for 25 years. In addition, she lovingly provided home daycare for many years, influencing and nurturing countless children throughout her life. Marilyn enjoyed traveling—especially trips to Disney—reading, eating crabcakes, spending time at the beach, and she took pride in keeping things clean and organized.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Gallagher; her father, John Tracy; her stepfather, John Gallagher; her brother, John Tracy; and her sister, Margaret Rosenburg.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony Coliano, Sr; three children: Kerry Coliano, Kristie Coliano-Barnhill and her husband Justin, and Anthony Coliano, Jr. and his wife Caroline; and her cherished grandchildren: Alissa Coliano, Collin Orwig, Emma Coliano, Delaney Coliano, Anthony Coliano, III, and Gabriella Coliano. She is also survived by her siblings: William Gallagher, Kathleen Tracy Galusha DePalma, Regina Tracy, Geraldine Tracy, and Melanie Gallagher Mundell.
