Maria "Teresa" Williams

Maria "Teresa" Williams, age 85, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on February 23, 2023 at her home. Born in Camaguey, Cuba, she was the daughter of Oscar and Loreto (Acosta) Silva. Teresa proudly graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Cullman, Alabama in 1955 and worked as a secretary for Lions Club International in Chicago from 1956-1959. In 1965 Teresa moved to Joppatowne, where worked for Mercedes Samborsky Esq as a legal secretary for 39 years. For many years she was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Teresa enjoyed bowling, cross-stitching, loved talking to people and keeping in touch with her many friends.

Teresa is survived by her husband of 63 years, Keith Williams; son, Kevin Williams; daughter-in-law Marta Williams and granddaughter, Lindsay Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Allen Williams and sister, Myriam Rosine.
